Case study · Lanta LLC

The 3PL that got tired of nine systems — so it built one.

Nine logins to get through one day

Lanta LLC handles warehousing, cross-dock and transload, dispatch, and delivery for e-commerce and B2B shippers. Meeting customer SLAs, staying DOT-compliant, and simply getting through daily tasks meant the operations team lived in nine different systems at once.

Inventory tracked in spreadsheets. Orders in the store admin. Dispatch on a whiteboard. Driver pay reconciled from texts and memory. Bills of lading printed, then inventory adjusted by hand — twice. Every handoff was a chance to re-key a number wrong, and every week ended with stock counts that were already off and drivers disputing their pay. The real cost wasn't the software licenses. It was the burnout.

One platform, built from the floor up

Rather than bolt on a tenth tool, Lanta built FlowOps — and moved the entire operation onto it. Each fix came straight from a real problem on the floor.

  • Inventory scattered across spreadsheetsReal-time stock by SKU & location, fully audited
  • BOLs printed, inventory adjusted by handFinalize a BOL — it posts inventory & closes the load in one click
  • Driver pay from texts and memoryWeekly Sun–Sat settlements, paid receipts sent automatically
  • Orders re-keyed between systemsShopify & Amazon sync both ways, no re-keying
  • Customers calling "where's my order?"Self-service portal scoped to each customer
  • Nine separate loginsOne system. One source of truth

What changed

The operations team got back 25–50 hours a week — depending on the role — that used to disappear into re-keying the same numbers across nine systems — time now spent on customers instead of copy-paste.

One source of truth

The floor, dispatch, and billing all read the same live data — so a number entered once is right everywhere.

Inventory that posts itself

Finalizing a bill of lading moves the stock automatically. No more double-keying behind every shipment.

Payday without disputes

Drivers see approved pay and receive a settlement receipt every week — the end-of-week reconciliation is gone.

Fewer status calls

Customers check their own inventory, orders, and documents in a scoped portal instead of calling the desk.

We built FlowOps from the everyday reality of running an operation — one platform that does the whole job, priced so an operator can actually afford it.
